This topic is in the 'Vectors' section. Remember this scenario when you're trying to remember vectors. If you wanted to tell me about the state of your car on the highway, you might say that you're moving 30 mph, due north. So you gave me a number, 30 mph, and a north-facing direction. That's what a vector is all about- it captures both a number and a direction at the same time. Think of it as an arrow! For your car it would point north and have a length of 30 mph. If you doubled your speed, the arrow would get twice as big. After watching the tutorials in this section, you'll have a good sense for how to work with vectors, how to add and subtract them, and how to break them up into very useful pieces.
