Virtual Nerd, LLC is looking for someone who has recently taken, taught, or tutored Algebra and who is also experienced using at least one of the following: OmniGraffle, Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop. You will create diagrams and equations for use in our interactive tutorials. This is contract work and is ideal for a student or teacher looking for supplementary income.
About You
Without a doubt you are:
- Knowledgeable about high school Algebra.
- Experienced with at least one of the software products listed above.
- Able to perform your work on a Mac.
- Able to produce simple yet attractive Math diagrams.
Ideally, you also:
- Have experience teaching and/or tutoring math and/or science at the high school level.

Compensation will be based on output, not hours, so the more work you do, and the faster you do it, the more we'll pay you. Each of our tutorials has a set of diagrams and/or equations associated with it. We will pay you per tutorial for which you complete the set of required diagrams/equations. Based on our experience, typical sets of diagrams/equations take about an hour to complete. Assuming you work at that pace, you can expect your equivalent hourly compensation to be in the $20-$30 range.
