Algebra Tutorial Designer

Virtual Nerd, LLC is looking for subject-matter experts in PreAlgebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 to design short step-by-step tutorials covering key topics and typical homework problems. Work wherever and whenever you want, and get paid according to your output (up to $40 per hour).

About You

Without a doubt, you are:

  • Knowledgeable enough about middle and high school Algebra to be able to teach it to others;
  • Proficient at using simple language and diagrams to explain complex ideas;
  • Able to identify related Algebra problems and distill them into their key conceptual components;
  • Skilled at using PowerPoint to create and arrange text and diagrams;
  • Available for at least 30 hours of work per week, starting ASAP;

Ideally, you also:

  • Have experience teaching and/or tutoring math and/or science at the middle and/or high school level(s).
