Fractions represent dividing a whole into parts, and multiplying fractions comes down to multiplying the wholes and multiplying the parts separately. It's a pretty neat trick, and the key is not to confuse it with fraction addition! Get good at fraction multiplication, and then fraction division will come much easier, since fraction division is just multiplication, as long as you first flip the fraction that you're dividing by.
