Focus: Differentiated Instruction
Description: Merit Learning Center is an alternative school serving students in grades ten through twelve across five public schools. Virtual Nerd School Edition is utilized in the classroom by teachers to create and assign playlists, which act as customized study guides for students. School Edition's reporting tool is used by teachers and administrators to track student progress, assess performance, and determine intervention and remediation plans. Students have 24/7 access to Virtual Nerd's instructional tutorials providing personalized math support when reviewing concepts, completing homework, or studying for tests.

Focus: Blended Learning
Description: New York City's School of One, funded in part by the Gates Foundation and NewSchools Venture Fund, re-imagines teaching and learning in order to meet the needs of today's students. Each school day, the academic needs of every student are determined, and individual assignments are created from School of One's educational and technology resources to offer the most effective instruction possible. Virtual Nerd School Edition was incorporated into the middle school math curriculum during the 2011–2012 school year—to date, over 20,000 playlists have been assigned to School of One students across New York City.
Washington Learning Source Washington
Focus: Instructional Technology
Description: Washington Learning Source (WLS), a statewide organization comprising Washington's nine Educational Service Districts, selected Virtual Nerd School Edition as an approved web-based supplemental instructional product for districts across the state of Washington. WLS selected Virtual Nerd because it provides access to high-quality, interactive video tutorials for supplemental math instruction that are strongly aligned with the Washington GLEs and the Common Core.
Calvert School National
Focus: Supplemental Instruction
Description: Calvert Virtual Schools implemented Virtual Nerd School Edition to provide its middle school students access to high-quality, web-based video tutorials for supplemental math instruction. Virtual Nerd School Edition is integrated directly into the Calvert Learning Management System, allowing students to quickly and easily access Virtual Nerd tutorials without needing to re-enter a username and password.
